Study Suggests Cancer Risk with Blood Pressure Drugs; Hypertension Experts Skeptical

Published research suggests a modest increase in cancer risk associated with the use of the class of blood pressure medication known as ARBs. Dr. William White, professor and chief of the Calhoun Cardiology Center’s Division of Hypertension and Clinical Pharmacology, and president-elect of the American Society of Hypertension, comments on the study in this WTIC 1080 News report with Aaron Kupec.
