Memory Matters: Topic of November 2 Discovery

The Discovery Series and Celebrate Aging, a free membership program for men and women over the age of 40, have teamed up to present a special program focusing entirely on memory disorders. “Memory Matters” will be held on Thursday, November 2, at 7 p.m. in Keller Auditorium at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

Specialists from the James E.C. Walker, M.D., Memory Assessment Program will address a wide spectrum of issues associated with memory disorders including:

  • When should I worry?
  • Assessing memory loss
  • The role of imaging in diagnosing a memory disorder
  • Caregiver issues

Presenters include George Kuchel, M.D., Patrick Coll, M.D., Richard Kaplan, Ph.D., John Vento, M.D., and Richard Fortinsky, Ph.D. The Discovery Series is free but registration is required. Please call 800-535-6232 or 860-679-7692 or ccda@up.uchc.edu.
