Photographer Takes Center Stage at UConn Health Center Exhibit

About the artist:
Rick Popham has been a photographer for almost three decades, but
only recently began to display his photographs. Never pleased with
color prints from his darkroom or from professional labs, he says he
worked his way up the steep learning curve of digital printing and
currently prints high quality digital photos on a variety of cotton
rag papers. “I have finally been able to produce prints that please
me,” Popham states. Popham, who lives in Harwinton, was the “Artist
of the Month” at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington.
