UConn Health Center's Mary Beth Bruder Honored

FARMINGTON, CONN. – Mary Beth Bruder of the University of Connecticut Health Center is the 2009 recipient of the Mary McEvoy Service to the Field Award from the Division for Early Childhood, part of the Council for Exceptional Children, in Missoula, Montana.

Bruder, of Avon, is a professor of pediatrics and director of two programs within the UConn School of Medicine: Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities and the A.J. Pappanikou Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. The Division for Early Childhood recognized her contributions to the fields of early intervention and early childhood special education.
