Geriatrics Physician Joins UConn Health

FARMINGTON, CONN. – Glendo Tangarorang, M.D., is now seeing patients at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

Tangarorang comes to the UConn Health Center from Sound Seniors Geriatrics in Mystic and Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London. He rejoins the UConn Center on Aging, where he completed a fellowship in geriatrics. He completed his internship and residency training at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City after earning his doctorate of medicine from Cebu Institute of Medicine in the Philippines. He is certified by the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Care and the American Board of Internal Medicine, with a certificate of added qualification in geriatrics.
