Auxiliary Reports a Successful Spring Market
By Carolyn Pennington
The Auxiliary's annual Spring Market helped raise money for student scholarships and other worthy causes.
The Health Center Auxiliary’s annual Spring Market was a bloomin’ success, raising more than $2,200. The Spring Market held on Friday, April 30, featured nearly two dozen vendors located on all three levels of the front hospital lobby area. In addition, the Creative Child Care Center held a bake sale and preschool teacher Nar Scaia entertained the "customers" with his singing and guitar playing. The raffle winner of the Mother’s Day Gift Basket was a woman whose mother was a patient at the Health Center. She asked the Auxiliary to deliver it to her mother on the fourth floor for an early Mother's Day surprise.
