New Primary Care Institute

The UConn School Medicine and St. Francis Hospital are teaming up to open a new primary care institute that will provide research and training to doctors. Dr. Adam Silverman, chief of the Division of Internal Medicine at the Health Center, told NBC Connecticut’s Lisa Carberg that the Connecticut Institute for Primary Care Innovation will try to find ways to reverse a primary care physician shortage in the state.
