Diabetes Management Class Is July 20th
Comprehensive Program at the UConn Health Center
FARMINGTON, CONN. – Specialists with the Diabetes Education Program at the University of Connecticut Health Center will offer an all-day class on diabetes management on Thursday, July 20, covering a range of topics including new approaches to testing blood sugar, medications, carbohydrate counting, meal planning, exercise, heart health, stress relief and more.
The class will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Dowling South Medical Building on the UConn Health Center campus. To register, call 800-535-6232 or 860-679-7692.
The Diabetes Education Program at the UConn Health Center has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association and meets its national standards for self-management education programs.
