Fight Back from Debilitating Back Pain

Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, Low Back Pain and Treatment Options Will Be Explored During Free Talks on April 1 and 15

FARMINGTON, CONN. – Experts from the New England Musculoskeletal Institute at the University of Connecticut Health Center will discuss medical and surgical treatment options, including a new minimally invasive procedure, for the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), during two talks in April.

The free talks will be on Wednesday, April 1, at 6 p.m., at the UConn Health Center in Farmington and on Wednesday, April 15, at 6 p.m., at the Hartford Marriott. Registration is required by calling 800-535-6232.

Speakers will include neurosurgeon Hilary Onyiuke, M.D., director of the Comprehensive Spine Center at the New England Musculoskeletal Institute and orthopaedic surgeon R. Alexander Mohr, M.D., the assistant director. They will discuss new treatment options for millions of American men and women who suffer from LSS and low back pain.

The program is presented by the New England Musculoskeletal Institute and Medtronic.
