UConn Health Center Throwing Party for ‘Graduates’ September 11

FARMINGTON, CONN. – The University of Connecticut Health Center will celebrate 35 years of providing comprehensive care for sick newborns Saturday, September 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the courtyard of the main Health Center building.

All former patients of the UConn Health Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Nurseries and their families are invited to attend. The theme of this year’s event is "an old-fashioned country fair."

Guests will be treated to music from Country 92.5. There will be entertainment, games and prizes as well as displays and educational booths. Special guests will include area mascots such as Rocky the Rock Cat, Sonar from the Hartford Wolf Pack and Carey the Sodexo Bear. The event will be held in the Food Court if it rains.
