Foot and Ankle Surgeon Joins New England Musculoskeletal Institute
FARMINGTON, CONN. – Dr. Vinayak Sathe, an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery, is now seeing patients at the University of Connecticut Health Center and at its medical offices in Southington and Avon.
Sathe has joined the foot and ankle program at the Health Center’s New England Musculoskeletal Institute. He completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he treated patients at the UAMS Hospital and the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital in Little Rock. He also was an arthroscopy and sports medicine clinical fellow at Kentucky Sports Medicine in Lexington and a foot and ankle clinical fellow at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He also trained in Pune, India, at the B.J. Medical College and the University of Pune, and is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
Sathe lives in Farmington.
