Hand Surgeon Joins New England Musculoskeletal Institute
Dr. Jennifer Wolf Selected to Prestigious Fellowship by American Society for Surgery of the Hand
FARMINGTON, CONN. – Dr. Jennifer Wolf, orthopaedic surgeon and hand specialist, is now seeing patients at the University of Connecticut Health Center, joining Dr. Craig Rodner in the New England Musculoskeletal Institute’s hand and wrist program.
Wolf was just awarded one of the highest honors from the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, which named her its 2010 Sterling Bunnell Fellow. This prestigious fellowship allows for the development of national and international relationships which contribute to her pursuit of higher learning and scholarship.
Wolf offers expert care for patients with conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures of the hand and wrist, tendon and nerve injuries, sports injuries, and arthritis of the hand and wrist. She sees patients at the Health Center’s Farmington campus and at the New England Musculoskeletal Institute’s office in Southington, at 1131 West St.
Wolf comes to the UConn Health Center from the University of Colorado, where she was a member of the clinical faculty in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Her post-doctoral education includes a hand surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Brown University in Providence, where she also completed her residency and internship training. Her medical degree is from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
