Joint Preservation, Replacement Surgeon Joins UConn Health Center

FARMINGTON, CONN. – Dr. Gregory Polkowski, an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee preservation and replacement, is now seeing patients at the University of Connecticut Health Center and at its Southington Medical Office.

Polkowski has joined the Center for Joint Preservation and Replacement at the Health Center’s New England Musculoskeletal Institute. He completed a fellowship in joint preservation, resurfacing and replacement at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, was chief orthopaedic surgery resident at the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Institute in Nashville, and has a medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine.

Polkowski is a resident of Avon.
