Cardiologist Joins UConn Health Center

Dr. Ofer Sagiv Specializes in Cardiac Imaging

FARMINGTON, CONN. – Dr. Ofer Sagiv, a general cardiologist who specializes in cardiac imaging, is now seeing patients in the Pat and Jim Calhoun Cardiology Center at the University of Connecticut Health Center, and at the center’s new office on 11 South Road in Farmington.

Sagiv’s areas of expertise include noninvasive cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiac computed tomography (CT), nuclear cardiology, and vascular imaging.

Sagiv fellowship trained in cardiovascular disease at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, completed a residency in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, and holds a medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, in collaboration with Ben Gurian University of the Negev in Israel. He is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, cardiovascular CT, and nuclear cardiology, and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI). He is fluent in Hebrew and proficient in Spanish.

Sagiv lives in West Hartford.
