Dermatologist, Mohs Surgeon Joins UConn Health

FARMINGTON, CONN. – Dr. Nicole Cote, a dermatologist with proficiency in Mohs micrographic surgery, is now seeing patients at UConn Health in Farmington and Southington.

Cote brings her expertise in general dermatology and advanced, precise treatment of skin cancer to UConn Health from the Mayo Clinic Health System in Wisconsin, where she established a Mohs surgery program. Mohs surgery is considered the gold standard in removing cancerous cells while sparing healthy skin tissue.

Cote is fellowship trained in dermatopathology from the University of Virginia and procedural dermatology from the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, where she also completed a dermatology residency. Her medical degree is from the Duke University School of Medicine. She is board certified in dermatology and dermatopatholgy.

Cote is a resident of West Hartford.
