Geriatric Psychiatrist Joins UConn Health Center

Dr. Kristina Zdanys, a geriatric psychiatrist, is now seeing patients at the UConn Health Center.

Zdanys specializes in later-life mental health problems, including cognitive and mood disorders in the context of aging-related psychosocial changes.

She joins UConn from the Yale University School of Medicine, where she was a geriatric psychiatry fellow. She residency trained in psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine after earning her medical degree at Yale. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in cognitive science from Yale.
